2017 may be coming to an end, but the League of Women Voters of Naperville isn’t slowing down. Our members are busy picking out their white elephant gifts for the annual holiday party on December 8. (Want an invitation to next year’s party? Then join LWV Naperville!)
Two days later, we’re marching in the second annual Community Unity Walk, organized by Moms Building Bridges and co-hosted by the IPSD 204 Parent Diversity Advisory Council, Hate Has No Home Here – Naperville, Alive Center, and LWV Naperville. The march kicks off on Sunday, December 10 at 3 p.m. from Fredenhagen Park in downtown Naperville and ends at Naperville Central High School. Click here for more information and to register for the event.
If you’re looking for a good read to add to your holiday wish list, our January book club selection is City of Scoundrels: The 12 Days of Disaster That Gave Birth to Modern Chicago by Gary Krist. LWV Naperville’s next book club meeting is scheduled for Friday, January 19 at 1 p.m. at Pancake Cafe, located at 1292 Rickert Drive. Happy holidays!
