What Does the League Do?
Sometimes League members are asked, “so, what do you do?” Here’s information from the League of Women Voters of Illinois’ Impact Report:
Over the 2024 and 2025 election seasons, our volunteers
- Registered 20,800 voters
- Organized 130+ candidate forums
- Sent 13,000 ‘Get Out the Vote’ postcards
- Provided a voter guide to 672,000 voters
Locally, the League of Women Voters of Naperville (LWVN) contributed to each of these action items. Looking ahead to the upcoming March 2026 election, LWVN is planning voter registration events, candidate forums, updating Vote411 with current ballot and candidate information, and get out the vote campaigns.
